  1. I'd say the Boson tests are a pretty good indicator of what you will see on the exams. If anything the Boson tests are a bit harder than the real thing (by design, I would guess), so if you can do well on the Boson tests you should be able to pass the actual test.

  2. Good news is though, is that the overwhelming opinion is that the Boson exsim is much harder than the actual exam. They’re quite difficult and tbf some of the questions on there are either not in the CCNA targets or go way deeper into some things then any resources teach to (e.g. SSH). I’d say they’re about as hard as the actual exam.

  3. Unlike the official exam, I believe Boson doesn't do partial grading in the multiple answer questions, meaning you get no points for the question even if you selected 2/3 correct, so that may be contribute to your score.

  4. Boson is better. Jeremy's it lab practice exam is like 50% harder than the boson test and it asks you some questions that you would never get on the actual exam.

  5. In my experience, the Boson Ex-Sim Max practice exams are pretty much right on the money. For simulated CCNA labs, look into Odom's Network Simulator. It is about $100 on Amazon.

  7. ExSim-Max replicates the timing and difficulty of the actual exam so accurately that if you can pass the ExSim-Max exam, you can pass the real exam — guaranteed. Your score reports include a category breakdown where you can easily pin-point specific topics that require further preparation.
