Ghost Town in the Sky is currently a closed and the historic Old-West themed amusement park, located in Maggie Valley NC. The park was a huge attraction during the 60s, 70s, and 80s with families visiting the area.

Coburn, Ghost Town opened atop Buck Mountain (elevation 4,650 ft) in 1961, and was widely known as “North Carolina’s Mile High Theme Park.”

Just read GHOST TOWN IN THE SKY will ( NOT ) open in 2019. Now i am reading it should open in 2020. Do not understand how someone will not open this famous GHOST TOWN so our kids and grandkids now can enjoy.
