Netflix Death Note movie was so damn good! Analysis. Just rewatched it and man, it’s such a good movie. Like a majority of you, I overall disliked it my first time watching it, or the second time. We love the manga/anime so much, it’s nearly perfect and it’s an insult to Americanize it and give us an hour and 40 minutes.
I say all of them are worth watching even the 2017 one. The 2006 movies are pretty good live action adaptations of the original story with a few minor changes.
Death Note is most loved for the interactions between Light and L, and that’s the one thing you can find at the center of every other adaptation. Despite this, Light Up The New World returns to the story ten years after their deaths and explores the implications of a post-Death Note world.
