Nikolai Fedorovich Shashmurin designed the IS-7 in Leningrad in 1945. It was the largest and heaviest member of the IS heavy tank family, weighing 68 tonnes and armed with a long-barreled 130 mm S-70 tank gun. It was also one of the most sophisticated heavy tank designs.

The IS-7 heavy tank, also known by its project name Object 260, is a Soviet tank that began development in 1945. The vehicle existed only in prototype form and was cancelled in favor of the T-10 tank.
It's a pretty great tank overall. The mobility is great, the armor is spectacular, and the gun hits hard. It does have long repair times, lacks gun depression, is stuck with a 10 second autoloader, and it only gets 5 shells in the ready rack take forever to replen.
