Isaiah 55:10-11: "The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.
Intro: The prophet uses a common occurrence to illustrate the glory of God's Word. I. RAIN AND SNOW BOTH COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN. A. God's Word has come down to us from heaven. 1. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God." 2. Holy men of old wrote as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit. B. Beware of those who would challenge these statements.
