Isamu stumbles upon a fleshy labyrinth as he's being chased by Nejibishoma. He asks a Shokunin present on what to do, and it tells him to feed a piece of cloth and two sticks to any one of them, and they would give him an unlit torch. He quickly turns a corner as Nejibishoma enters the cave.
Isamu is brought to a playground where he encounters a small child-like monster girl inside a playground named Chihiro. She prompts him to play a game of hide and seek with him and will help him escape if he does so.
