This product must be installed exactly as per these instructions using only hardware supplied. Take a few moments to read instructions thoroughly before beginning work. In the event of damage to any bar component please contact OFFROAD ANIMAL to arrange repair/replacement of components.
• Do not attempt to fi t the rack system to your vehicle unless you fully understand these fi tting instructions. Please direct any questions regarding fi tting to the dealer from where the roof racks were purchased. • Use only non-stretch fastening ropes or straps.
Start by Removing the Front slat of the Roof Rack. Slide one M8 Thin Nut (Item 7) into the T-Slot of the front slat. Center the Mid Support Bracket (Item 4) in the Middle of the slat using a tape measure and secure using a Schnorr Washer and M8 x 12 Button Head Bolt (Item 6 & 15). Fully tighten.
5 Ιαν 2012 · Step 1 of the install is to remove the 2 trim mouldings along the roof seam. The mouldings are held on by 7 or so plastics clips. To find these clips, gently peek under the strip with a small flat screwdriver. Once you find a clip, carefully push the tab on the center section to release the clip.
Place these instructions in the vehicle’s glove box after installation is complete. Care Instruction: Wash vehicle roof especially the mounting points prior to installation. Maximum carrying capacitiy evenly distributed: One Crossbar 40kg/ 88lbs. Two Crossbars 100kg/ 220lbs.
