19 Σεπ 2023 · Update will attempt to install the latest iOS and KEEP your data. Restore will do a factory reset and install the latest iOS, losing all your data. I attempted update several times and it always ends with the dreaded “error 7” code. The internet has very little information on this error code.

26 Οκτ 2024 · Me too on a Intune supervised iPhone 14. I am using iTunes on a Windows 11 Pro laptop. Connection with the apple servers is not smooth. I have to click many times "update" and "restore" until it gets the download started. "There was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone "devicename". The network connection was reset.
