Jack London State Historic Park, also known as Jack London Home and Ranch, is a California State Historic Park near Glen Ellen, California, United States, situated on the eastern slope of Sonoma Mountain.
This 1,400 acre state park tells the story of famed writer/adventurer Jack London who made Glen Ellen and the Sonoma Valley his home. Explore the cottage, Beauty Ranch, Wolf House ruins and the House of Happy Walls Museum.
Glen Ellen was home to writer/adventurer Jack London from 1905 until his untimely death in 1916 — and today the Beauty Ranch is part of Jack London State Historic Park. It’s a truly beautiful property, filled with lush forests, redwood groves, meadows, and hills that afford amazing views.

The slice of Sonoma County paradise in Glen Ellen was the home and farm of Jack London, the first author to earn $1 million from his trade, and his second wife Charmian London from 1911 until his death in 1916.
Tour the simple cottage where Jack and Charmian lived - and where London died at age 40, of gastrointestinal uremic poisoning. Examine old farm equipment in a stone barn, or walk through the gorgeous ruins of an old stone winery.
