29 Δεκ 2020 · Supercharger oil change and coupler replacement The supercharger in the 3.0L V6 F type S is an Eaton TVS 1320 ( the V8 version is the TVS 1900). The super charger coupler (also called isolator) is the join between the input shaft (driven by the belt) and the turbine.
CAUTION: If a new cylinder head has been installed, then new taptite bolts must be used to install the supercharger. NOTE: New taptite bolts when used cut their own threads on the first application. Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.
20 Νοε 2017 · Lots of discussion about this and the coupler/torsion isolator over on the US forum, and it's been proven many a time that the only way to remove the snout is to remove the entire supercharger from the motor.
10 Αυγ 2008 · The drive coupler of my (XKR 2001) supercharger (Eaton M112 with specific casing) is making some rattling at idle; time to change it. I found the right oil (see other post), and the coupler on Ebay,
9 Φεβ 2020 · Renew the coolant expansion tank/reservoir as well and the hose/pipe that runs from it. Consider an SC rebuild kit (coupler, bearings and oil) not just coupler and oil, plenty of kits on Fleabay. As well as the coolant pump renew the thermostat.
