Lucy Knight was a fictional medical student in the television show ER. She was portrayed by Kellie Martin. At the beginning of the season, she was a third-year medical student, with Dr. John Carter being quickly assigned as her overseeing resident while she completed her emergency room rotation.
If you watch season 5, Lucy's arc seems to be completely focused on her relationship with Carter, starting out as foes to then grow into a relationship but after they kissed and Carter turned her down, Lucy became a non-event.
