Have not personally used them, but any reports I have read say they were reliable. Use a credit card to give you recourse should you not get what you ordered. Having said that, Sumo and Tokyo Giants tickets can easily be purchased on the internet (no charge for the Tokyo Giants, reasonable charge for Sumo).
We used Japan Ball to buy two tickets for a Yakult Swallows game in June. It was absolutely reliable and very convenient. They quickly answered my e-mailed questions ahead of time and it was easy to place an order online.
Detailed Reviews: Reviews ordered by recency and descriptiveness of user-identified themes such as wait time, length of visit, general tips, and location information. Prior to travelling to Tokyo for a much needed holiday we looked at booking a baseball game and the team website was hard work.
Is it a scam? No, my tickets arrived in great condition. Is it overpriced? Probably, but it's up to the individual buyer to decide that. For example, I had one weekend in Tokyo on my first visit and I wanted to see the Giants so $50 a ticket was ok with me.
We are lucky that many JapanBall guests have shared their photos, videos, and reflective pieces with us. Check out the items below for a deeper dive, from a guest’s perspective. Donn Ouye and his daughter Jean joined us for our Tokyo Tour and Donn combined his photos into an awesome slideshow of their entire trip.
Answer 1 of 15: Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used Japanball to buy tickets to the Baseball and Sumo? We live in Australia and want to buy tickets before we travel there in March/April, and any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Answer 1 of 4: Does anyone have experience with the online ticket site www.japanball.com? We have already ordered the tickets-want to know if they're reliable and legit! Thanks...
