21 Μαΐ 2022 · Pardon the rogue screw (top-right). Apparently JBL 6x9 speakers and the holes in the bracket didn't line up 100%. I ended up drilling a new hole in the bracket for a snug fit. In case you're wondering, apparently Nissan wrapped an extra connector to the speaker wire at the factory.

Route the wire to the amplifier’s location, and connect it to the amplifier’s Positive (+12V) terminal. Be sure to use appropriate grommets whenever routing wires through the firewall or other sheet metal. Using your balance and fader, do the following. Fade all audio to your front speakers. While panning from left to right, if you notice an increase in lower frequencies when you're farther to the left or right than in the center, you've got a speaker out of phase. Next, balance your speakers to the left, but pan from front to rear.
25 Νοε 2009 · Most speaker terminals will have one terminal smaller than the other. The smaller terminal is most often the negative terminal (as seen below). If you are still hesitant and MUST be sure, consult method #2.
Use this polarity stripe to ensure that you are connecting the positive (+) terminal on the JBL Control X speakers to the positive (+) terminal on the amplifier, and connect the negative (–) speaker terminal to the negative (–) terminal on the amplifier.

Then, connect one positive end to the positive terminal on your speaker, and the other positive end to your amplifier or receiver’s positive terminal.
