13 Δεκ 2023 · JBridge is a great tool when you want to bridge your 32-bit VST plugins into a 64-bit DAW. At $10, JBridge isn’t expensive at all, but sometimes you don’t even have $10 to spend. We’ll be looking into what free & paid JBridge alternatives are available to you for both Windows and Mac.

Using inter-process communication mechanisms, it aims to make it possible to run 32-bit plug-ins in 64-bit hosts, or even bridging 32-bit plug-ins to 32-bit hosts, allowing you to overcome the memory limitations of a single 32-bit process, in this last case.
20 Μαρ 2017 · jBridgeM (the macOS version) also works in 9 Pro. Though I mostly use 32 Lives for most of my 32-bit plugs, I have this running for plugs that are incompatible with that, like some Sonnivox stuff and NI B4II.
The best free alternative to Cubase is LMMS, which is also Open Source. If that doesn't suit you, our users have ranked more than 50 alternatives to Cubase and many of them is free so hopefully you can find a suitable replacement.
Using jBridge in Windows 11. If the jBridger tool isn’t creating the bridging files in Windows 11, please check these steps, as additional permission settings may be needed ( but please check first if the plugins are working in Windows 11, without any bridging ):
