Core Certifications. IJCAHPO certification validates your knowledge, skills, and abilities in specific content areas as Allied Ophthalmic Personnel (AOP). Our three core levels of certification comprise a solid ladder for progressive career development. Entry Level.
IJCAHPO certification is valid for three years, or 36 months. The OSA specialty certification may expire sooner than 36 months on its first cycle because it is due the same time as your core level certification (COA, COT, or COMT).
IJCAHPO offers study guides and quick study cards for the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), and the Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT) certifications.
