20 Ιαν 2010 · I put a new cam on mine; it is a Mopar Performance .450 lift 256 duration Mopar High Performance camshaft (the most extreme cam for the 2.5L that Mopar made for street use). It does improve the power of the engine, and I used off the shlef springs from Summit; no mod needed to the head.
2 Αυγ 2009 · Make sure the timing marks on the sprockets are aligned (pointing at each other). To verify the timing chain is correctly installed, turn the crankshaft to place the camshaft timing mark at approximately the one o'clock position.

31 Δεκ 2021 · The distributor needs to be installed when pointing to #1 when the engine is on #1 compression. The easiest way when the cam sprockets are exposed (timing cover off) is to simply turn the crank one more revolution when the cam mark is straight away from the crank mark & set the distributor.
