11 Απρ 2021 · The Rubi rails poke into the fender well, and that's why the front Rokblokz flaps come with a cutout. If you have after market rails, like Rockhard 4x4, which fit flush to the well, then order the flaps with no cutout.
16 Απρ 2022 · If you are going to add mud flaps to your Rubicon JL, Weathertech is the way to go. They look OEM and no ugly logo like the RokBlokz. Furthermore, they integrate seamlessly with the XR fender flares.
13 Νοε 2015 · I used 1/4" thick nylon reinforced rubber mud flaps intended for a tractor trailer. The tough part is finding smooth ones - ones without any embossing or ribs. I found them at NAPA after digging through all the flaps in the back room, but have previously bought military surplus M35 reinforced rubber mud flaps for other projects.
9 Οκτ 2020 · For serious offroad I would just use simple rubber mudflaps (defender style). I run AEV on the rear and never had an issue. No flaps on my front. Mopar on Fronts, keep the slush off the door and have been on the vehicle for 3 years in all kinds of off road conditions.
9 Μαρ 2019 · Rokblokz recently released their Mudflaps for the JL, they have two sizes Standard which is good for Stock tires and wheels and an XL Version for larger Wheels and tires. Myself I have 35's X 12.5" KO2 Tires, my Fuel Assault wheels 18x9.5 have a 4.7" offset so they stickout beyond the fender 2"-3".
19 Μαΐ 2023 · Do you recommend installing mud flaps on a Wrangler Rubicon JLU? Do they really work? What brand and model do you recommend? Yes, they really protect the doors from chips. JLR, with weather-tech mud flaps on the front. 1974 CJ5 Renegade, 2003 TJ, 2013 JKR, all Arizona Rides.
11 Δεκ 2009 · I need some mud flaps for the winter to keep the snow and salt off of the rear fender flare so my kids don't get their pants all dirty getting in and out. Which ones do you suggest and where is the best place to get them for the money? Thanks for the advice!:cheers2:
