7 Αυγ 2009 · I recently became the owner of a 1956 Johnson Seahorse 10 hp outboard, overhauled last summer, 0 hours since overhaul..Runs like new. Starts on 1st or 2nd pull, usually first. I have the matching Johnson tank, w/ lines and fittings.
This motor has been meticulously maintained and is a superb runner. Thus was the first Lake test for this motor since it was tuned up in early 2017.
The operating range is 4,000 to 5,000 rpm and is certified 10 horsepower at 4,500 rpm. The 10 horsepower Johnson Seahorse is capable of going slowly enough for trolling all the way up to 20 mph, depending on the size and weight of your boat.
