2 Φεβ 2007 · I have a 90 hp Merc 2 stk with the oil injection. It has an oil fill cap on the top of the motor. Basically, the gasket cap isn't adequate and oil leaks badly when I tilt the motor up and trailer the boat. Needless to say I constantly have to check my oil and it makes a mess, a costly mess at that.

28 Νοε 2016 · The oil pump doesn't mix the oil with the fuel, it injects it directly into the intake. The carb is not jetted to run premixed fuel like the C model engines are. Idling the engine while waiting for the oil to fill the lines will not damage anything.
