The link provided gives you immigration wait times. It doesn't include baggage claim or customs. Customs usually goes fairly quickly though, especially since you are an American. Unless your flight is delayed massively, you should be fine.

15 Απρ 2024 · Everyone has to clear immigration at first point of entry. You have to collect checked bags if connecting. You have to clear security after going through immigration. How long of a connection you need after an international flight. Bottom line.

28 Μαΐ 2024 · On arrival at JFK you’ll follow everyone else off the plane. Everyone’s going to the same place. Immigration. At immigration you’ll see separate queues for USA Citizens and others. Of course you’ll get in the queue for non-citizens. You’ll eventually reach the agent in a booth. In 10 minutes. Or 60 minutes. Or…who knows?
