30 Αυγ 2013 · I am flying from London to NYC in late September, and wonder out of terminal 7 and 8 which one is quicker in terms of getting through immigration and luggage? I've flown to terminal 4 a couple of times, but the queue for getting through the immigration were just too long - at least 40 mins wait.
15 Απρ 2024 · Everyone has to clear immigration at first point of entry. You have to collect checked bags if connecting. You have to clear security after going through immigration. How long of a connection you need after an international flight. Bottom line.
28 Μαΐ 2024 · In some parts of the world, one can pay a little bit of money and present in advance passport information in order to bypass the worst lines coming into an airport. I've looked on the JFK site but haven't found any joy regarding fast tracking.
28 Μαΐ 2024 · You will have immigration at your arrival terminal, then collect bags to go through customs. But after customs you drop the bags off on a conveyor. You don't have to queue up with your airline to re-check them as they should already be tagged for your destination.
17 Απρ 2023 · As others have explained, you will have to go through immigration (passport/visa control) in JFK, as that is your port of entry into the US and you are not serving for a pre-clearance airport. You definitely cannot do that in BUF.
Answer 1 of 16: Delta has a flight from London Heathrow to New York JFK with a 1 hour 40 minute connection time to a flight to Minneapolis. Is that enough time to clear Immigration and Customs? The arriving and departing flights are both in Terminal 4.
