Joseph William DeNardo (November 27, 1930 – June 15, 2018) was an American meteorologist best known for his work at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh. [1] He was known for his 1994 campaign, "Joe Said It Would."[2] DeNardo resided in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, with his wife of almost 60 years.When he retired in 2005, after 45 years on the air, he enjoyed iconic status among Pittsburghers.

15 Ιουν 2018 · For 36 years, Joe DeNardo predicted rain, sleet, snow, sunshine and everything in between on WTAE-TV. Friday morning, WTAE announced DeNardo’s death at the age of 87. DeNardo, who lived in Moon Township, was the longest-serving chief meteorologist in the station’s history. He retired in 2005.
