23 Ιουλ 2021 · John 5:28-29: “Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, 29 and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment" (emphasis added).
John 5:28. Μὴ θαυμάζετε τοῦτο, marvel not at this) They are great things which He spake all along from John 5:21, and worthy of marvel; but greater and more marvellous are the things which follow: τοῦτο, this, is to be referred to what goes before.
29 Ιαν 2017 · PRINCIPLE: There are different judgments for different people. APPLICATION: There is no such thing as a general judgment. Judgments are separated by the Millennium. The dead in Christ will rise first at the Rapture (1 Th 4:16). Old Testament saints and Tribulation martyrs will rise later.
