23 Αυγ 2017 · Updated 5 p.m.: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office has issued level 2 evacuation notices near the Jolly Mountain Fire in Upper Kittitas County.
The Jolly Mountain fire was a wildfire in Wenatchee National Forest, Kittitas County, Washington, that began with lightning strikes August 11, 2017 and burned for over three months. [2] [1] Fires burned in the upper reaches of the Teanaway River a few miles east of Cle Elum Lake. [3]

29 Αυγ 2017 · Effective at 8:00am Saturday morning (9/16), the Kittitas County Emergency Operations Center will officially reduce the Evacuation Level 3 Advisory to a Level 2 Advisory from Bear Creek to Night Sky Drive, allowing more residents affected by the Jolly Mountain Fire to return home.
