11 Σεπ 2017 · An update on fires burning around North Central Washington…. The Jolly Mountain Fire, located 11 miles Northwest of Cle Elum, continues to burn in the Cle Elum Ranger District of the Okanogan/Wenatchee National Forest near land managed by the Department of Natural Resources.
5 Σεπ 2017 · The Jolly Mountain fire in Kittitas County has grown to over 20-thousand acres. Heavy smoke settled into the valleys again yesterday morning but did not lift until nearly 4 o’clock in some areas of the fire. Once it did, fire behavior increased but not as significantly as it did on Saturday.

31 Αυγ 2017 · CLE ELUM, Wash. -- People in about 150 homes in Central Washington have been told to evacuate because of a growing wildfire in the region. Kittitas County escalated evacuations in the Middle Fork Teanaway area near Cle Elum to a level 3 "Go Now" evacuation.
29 Σεπ 2017 · Authorities say firefighting efforts and cooler fall weather have slowed the fire's growth. About 40 percent is contained. Fire officials will continue to monitor the blaze until rain and snowfall extinguishes the fire.
