21 Φεβ 2024 · The Juayua Food Festival happens every Saturday and Sunday of the year, in the town of Juayua along El Salvador’s Ruta de las Flores. You can find it in the central plaza (located here), or just by following the smells of garlic, charcoal grilled meat, and sizzling corn.

The Juayua food festival is an open-air event in the centre of town. It costs absolutely nothing to wander the streets and see all of the fantastic food on offer. Unlike some culinary festivals, there are no food tickets involved.

11 Φεβ 2024 · Every weekend, Juayua’s streets near Parque Central transform into a food lover’s paradise, with vendors firing up their grills, music filling the air, and locals and travelers gathering to enjoy the delicious flavors. Despite its popularity, finding detailed info about the festival can be tough.
8 Δεκ 2016 · Good place for a food collage? I think yes. The Feria Gastronomica takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm-5:00pm. The streets around Parque Central become filled with mis-matched plastic chairs and tables while vendors strike up their grills and prepare foods.
This was a highly recommended event while I was visiting Juayua as part of my second weekend getaway from San Salvador. The town food fest happens rain or shine every Saturday and Sunday. It is the perfect place to sample Salvadorean foods in variety and it doesn't cost much at all. The average plate cost $3 and comes with meat, veggies and rice.
