The puppies are a breed mix of hounds that are called 'July' hounds. 'July' hounds are know for their wonderful and friendly disposition.

The July Hound is a small, medium sized hound breed that generally measures between 12 and 15 inches at the shoulders and weights between 15 and 30 pounds. They have long, lean bodies with broad chests. They have a bushy, short, double layered coat. The July Hound has a straight, wedge-shaped head.
