Learn about the history, requirements and benefits of the National Beta Club, an academic honors program for students in 4th through 12th grade. The club emphasizes moral character, achievement and community service, but leaves the specific qualifications to each local school.
There are three National Beta divisions: Elementary Beta: 4th-5th grade; Junior Beta: 6th-8th grade; Senior Beta: 9th-12th grade; All National Beta members receive the following: Certificate of Membership; Membership Card; Lapel Pin; Diploma seal for 12th grade Betas; Opportunities to attend various school, state, and national events
Although there are some universal requirements, each chapter has its own criteria for selection. Junior Beta is divided into two divisions: Division I includes grades 4-5 and Division II includes grades 6-8. Senior Beta includes grades 9-12.
The National Beta Club (often called "Beta Club" or simply "Beta") is an International honor society for 4th through 12th-grade students. Its purpose is to promote academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among elementary and secondary school students.
13 Αυγ 2024 · ELIGIBILITY: A candidate for state office must be a 6th or 7th grader, in good standing, officially enrolled as a Beta member and registered for the convention by the deadline date. Each club may have only one candidate for office.
