7 Νοε 2024 · It depends on what you are looking for. Both are very deluxe properties with nice beaches. The Westin is an all inclusive property with lots of activities during the day and night with an animation program, the JW Marriott is not all inclusive but it is a very deluxe hotel as well. Have a great trip!
22 Ιαν 2021 · Having been to both properties many times, this review may help in making your choice between the Westin and the JW Marriott in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This opinion is based on a recent visit during the Covid Pandemc in January, 2021, so all things are considered.
We are staying in the JW Marriott Guanacaste right now. It's beautiful and I couldn't ask for better service. However, the beach is mediocre - pretty, but small and very rocky (consistent with the reviews). We visited Playa Conchal today.
We drove past the Westin. Don't think it was as isolated and the beach at Conchal is nicer. For us, the activities we like are more rainforest/jungle/volcano but Guanacaste is beautiful. If you don't have a car, the JW runs a shuttle to town too.
1 Νοε 2016 · All three are large, high-end resorts. It really depends on your personal style and preference. If I had to guess, I'd say that you'd probably enjoy the JW Marriott the most. It's got a nice kids area and is only about 30 minutes away from the town of Tamarindo, which is worth a day trip during your visit. There's plenty to do in the area and ...
