29 Απρ 2002 · Procedure: 1. Source parts needed for swap 2. Source a motorset.3. Remove cooling fan and fan shroud. Remove old motor from chassis. You can unbolt the motor mounts from above or below. Guide the motor out, making sure it doesn't damage anything on it's way out. Pull the tranny with it so that it will be easier to remove, should you be resuing it.
2 Φεβ 2012 · Here is Version 4.0 of my KA24-620 Swap brackets. The mounts are a 3/4" drop from the factory KA mounts. They will fit the KA24E and KA24DE with stock 620 rubber motor mounts and allow you to bolt the KA to your 620. These mounts require the later style 620 rubber motor mount for the L20B.

22 Ιουν 2017 · Install the KA into the engine bay with the passenger engine mount attached and small pieces of plywood under the cross member and connect the engine to the transmission (you can do this with the transmission out of the vehicle but I left it in place to save on time).

5 Απρ 2008 · This is pretty amazing considering that these kits and be replicated/DIY for under $50. You can make your own grounding cables with an DIY from here. Grounding System: Depends on if you do your own > $60, or buy a kit which is normally $80 + MSD Ignition Coil: (Only On OBD1 KA24DE's, Possibly E)
i own a 1991 d21, 2wd... thinking about doing the de swap. will the ka24e computer and 91 d21 engine wiring harness hook up to the ka24de engine? my truck is a 5-spd.
