29 Απρ 2002 · I just completed my ka24e to ka24de swap. A 1995 motor into my 1990 S13. Here is the COMPLETE (to my knowlege, dont hold it against me if I missed a small detail) write up on the swap since it seemed we didn't have a really thorough one. Parts Needed:-new engine-Oil&filter, 4 quarts will do-Coolant/antifreeze-Power Steering Fluid-Transmission Fluid
10 Δεκ 2009 · Procedure: 1) Source parts needed for swap. 2) Source a motorset. 3) Remove cooling fan and fan shroud. Remove old motor from chassis. You can unbolt the motor mounts from above or below. Guide the motor out, making sure it doesn’t damage anything on it’s way out.
5 Απρ 2008 · This is pretty amazing considering that these kits and be replicated/DIY for under $50. You can make your own grounding cables with an DIY from here. Grounding System: Depends on if you do your own > $60, or buy a kit which is normally $80 + MSD Ignition Coil: (Only On OBD1 KA24DE's, Possibly E)
i own a 1991 d21, 2wd... thinking about doing the de swap. will the ka24e computer and 91 d21 engine wiring harness hook up to the ka24de engine? my truck is a 5-spd.
4 Ιαν 2021 · Unlike the KA24E engine, the KA24DE was designed with a dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) and 4 valves per cylinder. Another big difference was that the KA24DE had larger diameter inlet valves, better knock sensors, revised oil pickup, and a compressed ratio of 9.0:1 or 9.5:1.
The BC stroker kit for the Nissan KA24DE engine incorporates a 102mm stroke, steel billet crankshaft. Depending on bore size that you decide, the BC kit will take you up to a 2.60L with a safe 90mm bore. The KA24DE kit utilizes premium steel billet connecting rods.
22 Ιουν 2017 · Connect your heater hoses, alternator wiring, oil pressure wiring and starter wiring. Be aware the alternator, oil pressure and starter wiring will connect to the existing 720 wiring and NOT the wiring on the KA harness – you will need to change over the plugs from the KA harness to the 720 harness.
