10 Δεκ 2009 · Procedure: 1) Source parts needed for swap. 2) Source a motorset. 3) Remove cooling fan and fan shroud. Remove old motor from chassis. You can unbolt the motor mounts from above or below. Guide the motor out, making sure it doesn’t damage anything on it’s way out.

Guide the motor out, making sure it doesn't damage anything on it's way out. Pull the tranny with it so that it will be easier to remove, should you be resuing it.
This adapter plate is used to join the Honda engine to a Nissan KA24DE transmission commonly found in Nissan S13 240SX, Nissan S14 240SX, and Nissan hardbody trucks using the KA24E single cam engine with a 5-speed transmission.
27 Ιουλ 2009 · so i own a '92 hardbody with the ka24e in it. The engine is old and i'm tired of looking at it. I have the opportunity to get a de out of a newer frontier. the listing says it will fit 2001-2004 models.
22 Ιουν 2017 · Connect your heater hoses, alternator wiring, oil pressure wiring and starter wiring. Be aware the alternator, oil pressure and starter wiring will connect to the existing 720 wiring and NOT the wiring on the KA harness – you will need to change over the plugs from the KA harness to the 720 harness.

Hey all, I'm a little green, but did use the search to see if I could find a site or link to download a (preferably) factory service manual (but I would take a chiltonlook or equivalent) for my 1992 hardbody 4x4...
12 Μαρ 2009 · if the car is a current ka with a regular distributor, i would keep the harness and computer and swap the mtot and get it running first, make sure the injectors are 13+ ohm injectoers or make sure the e and de have the same injector impedance..
