10 Δεκ 2009 · Procedure: 1) Source parts needed for swap. 2) Source a motorset. 3) Remove cooling fan and fan shroud. Remove old motor from chassis. You can unbolt the motor mounts from above or below. Guide the motor out, making sure it doesn’t damage anything on it’s way out.
29 Απρ 2002 · You need to swap out your tach if you want one that works. No wiring is involved, but it must be done. Simply pull your gauge cluster and remove the three screws behind the tach.

25 Απρ 2005 · The easiest way (the only easy way) to swap an S14 KA24DE motor into an S13 is to use the S13B wiring harness, with the S13 KA24DE distributor, external coil, MAF, and ECU. This is $200 of parts that will save you 50 hours and a huge headache.
So I'm in the process of getting all my parts together to swap my s14 ka24de into my 1990 s13 that currently has the single cam. The forum posts I've read kinda give me two answers so I thought I'd ask here. Do s14 a/c lines work on the 1990 chassis? or will I need to get custom lines made?
10 Ιαν 2006 · What i want to know is weather or not it is worth rebuilding the ka24de and swapping it into my 89 (ka24e). The motor is seized up right now. I am looking at new main bearings, connecting bearings, piston rings, full gasket kit for 300$. That is if the motor is still repairable.
