All teachers must complete the 703 KAR 5:080 Administration Code for Kentucky’s Educational Program and the 703 KAR 5:070 Inclusion of Special Populations in the State Required Assessment and Accountability trainings, and alternate assessment trainings following state and district procedures.
The overall CWEC process includes three general phases: Instruction in an experiential curriculum. Students receive instruction, including work-based learning (WBL) opportunities in the classroom, school, community and worksites. The certification process utilizes community based school-business partnerships.
Only a QEA can access the ESAR from the KAAP system. The QEA will print the ESAR and copy for each student eligible for assessment in the current school year. The QEA may begin assessing students upon completion of the ESAR quiz. Consultation with other team members may also begin at that time.
