The facility was built in the western part of Osijek, in an area called 'Pampas', next to the banks of the Drava River and the hippodrome. Surrounding the stadium is an entire complex of seven training pitches serving the club's academy, as well as a car park for 890 vehicles.
Prema prvom projektu na Pampasu je bila predviđena izgradnja samo kampa sa sedam terena (pet s prirodnom i dva s umjetnom travom) te malog stadiona, kapaciteta oko 3.500 gledatelja, na kojem bi Osijek igrao svoje domaće utakmice tijekom obnove starog Gradskog vrta ili izgradnje novog Gradskog vrta.
