The Crash Data Unit is the state’s primary repository for all motor vehicle crashes on Kansas roadways. Our records go back 10 years. The unit is stationed under the Bureau of Transportation Safety at KDOT headquarters.
3 Απρ 2024 · KDOT and the DTZ Coalition created this dashboard tool to aid traffic safety partners in understanding the nature, frequency, and spatial distribution of fatal and suspected serious injury crashes. Individuals, agencies, and coalitions can use the tool to identify problems and work on solutions.

Collect and inventory roadway data to support crash analysis, project analysis and application of policies. Use safety management process tools such as Safety Analyst to couple data analysis with engineering solutions.
The Kansas Drive to Zero Coalition is pleased to announce the completion of the Strategic Highway Safety Plan strategy to “Promote web-based mapping tools for local jurisdictions, traffic safety coalitions, and others to access and view fatal and serious injury crash data.”
