To apply for cash assistance, fill out all of the sections where you see the hand holding cash symbol. Child Care Assistance: The child care subsidy program provides benefits to help pay child care costs.

Eligibility is determined from the date the application is received. The applicant will still need to provide information to qualify for Food Assistance (FA), TANF Cash Assistance (TANF), Child Care Assistance (CC), and Low-Income Energy Assistance (LIEAP).
How to Apply. by visiting the program’s website. If you are unsure of which application to submit, or you have questions about the process, you can receive live assistance from a KanCare rep. Eligibility. To qualify for KanCare, you must meet one or more of the following criteria: Be age 65 and older. Have a disability. Be pregnant.
Benefits in Kansas. Are you eligible for food stamps, child care subsidy, health insurance from the government? To apply for SNAP (Food Stamp) benefits, TANF (cash assistance), Child Care Subsidy, find the application here. You do not need to be eligible for or want all these benefits.
Apply via the online application (see Resources) for programs you are eligible for based on your household income. If you do not have regular access to a computer, call the Kansas SRS at 1-888-369-4777 to locate a nearby office where you can obtain a paper application.
