To apply for cash assistance, fill out all of the sections where you see the hand holding cash symbol. Child Care Assistance: The child care subsidy program provides benefits to help pay child care costs.
Apply online: Go to MyMDTHINK website https://mymdthink.maryland.gov/home/#/. Apply at your Local Department of Social Services in person. You may also file an application by mail, fax or other electronic means or someone may drop an application off for you.
Temporary Cash Assistance has time limits. The Food Supplement Program (formerly Food Stamps) and Medical Assistance do not have a time limit. When Temporary Cash Assistance ends because of time limits, earnings or other reasons, you may still get Food Supplement benefits and Medical Assistance.
Apply via the online application (see Resources) for programs you are eligible for based on your household income. If you do not have regular access to a computer, call the Kansas SRS at 1-888-369-4777 to locate a nearby office where you can obtain a paper application.
