The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) provides case management and limited medical assistance. Coverage is limited to inpatient hospital care or necessary alternative community-based care as approved KDHE.
This is the second in a series of reports from the Kansas HealthWave Evaluation Project, a three-year evaluation of HealthWave, Kansas’ State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) for low-income children.
