At the same time, KDADS administers the Medicaid waiver programs for disability services, mental health, and substance abuse and operates the state hospitals and institutions. Each Medicaid consumer is assigned to one of the KanCare health plans.
This resource guide is intended to provide clarification and updates to the provider enrollment requirements for Kansas Medicaid Providers. To ensure a broad base of providers, we encourage providers to enroll with each of the KanCare plans.
Paper copies of the network provider directory are available at no cost to members by calling the customer service number on the back of your ID card. Non-members may download and print search results from the online directory.
The KanCare health plans are Aetna Better Health of Kansas (Aetna), Sunflower State Health Plan (Sunflower), and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Kansas (United).
