A person between the ages of 14 and 17 can apply for an instruction permit (sometimes called a "learner's permit") at the Kansas Department of Revenue Division of Vehicles. If you are 14 or 15, you'll need permission from a parent or guardian to apply for the permit. (Kan. Stat. § 8-2,100 (2024).)
9 Ιαν 2023 · (a) (1) Every application for an instruction permit shall be made upon a form furnished by the division of vehicles and accompanied by a fee of $2 for class A, B, C or M and $5 for all commercial classes.

8-2,100. Instruction permits; conditions, restrictions and requirements; under 17 years of age. (a) Any person who is at least 14 years of age, but less than 17 years of age may apply to the division for an instruction permit.
