Just bought a Boss Katana 100 mk2, and tried to connect it to my windows 10 computer only for it to say “drivers unavailable”, and when I try to load up the software it tells me that the drivers aren’t installed and that I can’t use the software with the amp. What can I do to fix this?

Make sure the KATANA is UPDATED to the latest firmware KATANA System Program (Ver.4.00) so that WINDOWS 10 AUTO DETECTS and DOWNLOADS the correct DRIVER. NOTE: WINDOWS 10 does not recognize old device firmware so update is imperative for connection.

I did some digging and it appears Windows 10 doesn't allow 'unsigned' drivers to be installed and it appears that Roland/Boss have provided an unsigned driver for the Katana for Win10 (?). Either way, the following just worked for me: Windows 10 enforces driver signatures by default.
Use the usual windows driver troubleshooting steps: make sure to have the current firmware on the Katana (only in Firmware update mode it will show up as a usb storage device/drive)
