I am a composer, arranger, music director and instrumentalist (oboe, cor anglais, accordion, saxophone and piano). I was a member of The Ravishing Beauties, The Dream Academy and Channel Light Vessel and I have recorded two solo albums: Indescribable Night and Second Sight.
Kate St John (born 2 October 1957) is an English composer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Career. Classically trained on oboe, St John's first band was Ravishing Beauties with Virginia Astley and Nicky Holland.
On October 13th 2023 I was Musical Director on Both Sides Now, a concert in Cardiff Millenium Hall with the Wales National Orchestra for the Llais Festival.
