In a study on 26 pinna keloids, in 20 patients, Gupta and Narang used combined therapy of shaving surgery and mitomycin C solution of 1 mg/ml applied locally with a contact time of 3 minutes, right after the surgery and 3 weeks later.

Keloids are challenging to treat due to the high probability of recurrence. In our multidisciplinary team we have used a combined approach for management of patients with keloids on the ear. We present a case series of six patients.
