17 Μαΐ 2022 · Dr. U performed a flap excision surgical procedure to remedy the earlobe keloid on the patient’s right ear. A flap excision procedure involves removing damaged tissue, in this instance the keloid, and maneuvering surrounding skin so that the exposed area is covered.
In this prospective interventional study, 21 female patients who developed keloid after earlobe piercing were consecutively enrolled for surgical excision followed by intralesional triamcinolone acetonide (TA) injection.

We herein report four centers experience on keloids combined treatment with three different devices performed in the same session: CO2 laser for removing keloids, Dye laser to reduce the vascularization, blue light (EmoLED®) 3–6 min (depending on keloids’ size) to improve and speed up the healing process.
