31 Ιαν 2024 · Is there any reason to choose Major Marine vs. Kenai Fjords? We're probably going to do the 6-hour national park tour and it looks like they are nearly identical. Kenai Fjords is slightly cheaper (and know they may be even cheaper if they do a president's day sale).

Northern Latitude Adventures – A smaller cruise operator in Seward (like most things) has its benefits and costs.

Captains from both companies radio each other when they see something. Definitely different than on a cruise ship. These tours emphasize getting close to glaciers and wildlife - much closer than a cruise ship will get. You don't get to see marine wildlife in many parts of Alaska.
