The second annual conference in Ketotic Hypoglycemia International was held in June 2022. The program was packed with patient stories, live Q&As and scientific presentations on the condition of idiopathic ketotic hypoglycemia.
13 Απρ 2021 · We aimed to review the literature on ketotic hypoglycemia (KH) and introduce a novel patient organization, Ketotic Hypoglycemia International (KHI). IKH may be diagnosed after the exclusion of various metabolic and hormonal diseases with KH.
Ketotic hypoglycemia refers to any circumstance in which low blood glucose is accompanied by ketosis, the presence of ketone bodies (such as beta-hydroxybutyrate) in the blood or urine.
