This is a beach walk that starts from the large public parking lot at Kiawah Beachwalker Park. This park is located on the west end of Kiawah Island, and offers beautiful views of the ocean front along with a river view.
Kiawah Beachwalker Park, located on the west end of the island, is the only public beach access on the island. In addition to having a wide beach, the park also has picnic tables, grills, restrooms, changing rooms, and outdoor showers.
Beachwalker is the only part of Kiawah's beach with life guards, restrooms, and snack bar in summer. From the park, you can walk west along Captain Sam's Spit, experiencing a truly unspoiled section of beach, to view the Kiawah River inlet between Kiawah and Seabrook.
