This posts lays out what I understand the best emulation setup to be for each system, based on forum and Reddit posts. I'd welcome feedback and suggestions. I'm avoiding the virtual console emulators where possible, as there are complaints about filtering/colour reproduction and there's obviously far less flexibility than possible with RetroArch.

The one I'd recommend using the Wii U version (Cemu) over the Switch version (Yuzu or Ryujinx) is obviously Breath of The Wild. It's highly optimized for it and runs perfectly even on lower end PCs. The other games I'd recommend playing are the ones that haven't been re-released for the Switch, like Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD.

13 Απρ 2019 · Cemu---the Nintendo Wii U emulator---is now a mature program with good performance on most systems. If you'd like to play Wii U games on your PC with all the benefits of an emulator, Cemu is the way to go.
10 Νοε 2024 · I just got my Wii U installed with Homebrew Launcher and Wup installer. I know how to download and install Wii U games (was not easy finding where and how). I need a simple and straight forward explanation on how to run Wii games on Wii U using Wup installer.
