14 Φεβ 2008 · I noticed that the patternmaster is a shiny steel that might reflect sun and flare ducks, and the Kick's choke is not. But the patternmaster is more expensive, and ususally that means better. Has anyone tried both of them?
22 Οκτ 2020 · In my Browning Silver, the patternmaster code black duck and the kicks full gave almost identical patterns with Kent Fasteel 3" #3s. But when I switched to Rio Bluesteel 3.5" BB at 40 yards, the patternmaster was more even. The kicks was kinda scattered. I found the same thing with my Benelli.
26 Φεβ 2020 · They all offer varying levels of constriction. The difference between them (and what I choose as my deciding factor) is HOW they restrict the shot string. Patternmaster and Kicks chokes are designed to “strip” the plastic wad as it leaves the muzzle, thereby shortening the shot string.
17 Ιουν 2011 · The primos patterns well out to 30-35yds and great for when I use it and the bird decoy in. I'm looking at the patternmaster and kicks chokes for when the birds just don't want to commit and the shots a little long, which one do you guys like better and perform better.
